During which episode was it dropped? Skimmed through most of the drama – never fully dropped.
A few thoughts and observations
If you treat it like a buffet, Waikiki season two is enjoyable to watch. The episodes consist of several outlandish scenarios for each character, there is no need to watch whole episodes to follow the story. Feel free to pick and choose parts that tickle your fancy. For me it the first and final few episodes. The previews greatly aided help to decide if there is anything you may like. The actual overarching story is a little dull.
The bread and butter of the drama is the exploration of every day awkward moments, that are easy to relate to. For example. you can’t remember someone’s name, yet they know yours. The comedy is great and some new characters are fantastic, a favorite being Yoo-ri.
Who are the main characters? Which actors play them?
Cha Woo-sik played by Kim Sun-ho
Lee Joon-ki played by Lee Yi-kyung
Kook Ki-bong played by Shin Hyun-soo
Han Soo-Yeon played by Mun Ka-young
Kim Jung-Eun played by Ahn So-hee
Cha Yoo-ri played by Kim Ye-won
Theme: You never know what can happen. Pursuing dreams and paying the bills can be tough.
What it’s good for? Something friendly to watch while eating lunch, dinner, or …even breakfast.
